OUT
AND ABOUT
Situated right on the border of Brighton and Hove, your
apartment offers you the best of our magnificent city!
The seafront is just 25 metres away.

Just across the seafront road, this photo faces West
towards Hove. The popular "Meeting Place" cafe is
situated to the far left of the picture. Perfect for a
lazy breakfast, or coffee anytime.
The public petanque pitch (foreground)is also directly
across the road, next to the Peace Statue (upper right).
The Hove Lawns (behind Peace Statue in photo), roll
luxuriantly in front of the magnificent Regency
architecture. Petanque balls are provided for your
enjoyment.
The Hove seafront is a perfect place to fill your lungs
with fresh sea air, popular with joggers and roller
bladers, as well as walkers of all ages. The National
Cycle Network has a cycle path that runs past the
property from the Hove Lagoon to Brighton Marina.
EASTWARDS
This
photo shows the view looking Eastwards along the
Brighton promenade. The petanque pitch in the foreground
leads to the bandstand, beyond which lies the Peter Pan
Playground and paddling pool, the old Palace Pier, water
sports, and
then the plethora of restaurants, cafes, clubs, bars,
recreation areas, artists' boutiques, and souvenir
shops.
The Gingerman Restaurant is one of Brighton's secrets, a
hugely popular restaurant located just 150 yards north
of the apartment, on Western Street.
At the top of Western Street (200 metres) is Western
Road with several 24 hour shops, dozens of restaurants
and cafes, take-aways, bars, boutiques, Internet Cafes,
chemists, supermarkets, ethnic stores, and much, much
more. Bankers fish and chip restaurant will cook you the
best fish and chips in town, and it's just at the top of
Western Street - where you will also find the Atlas
Lounge, which is a cosy cafe-bar which serves a mean
organic burger along with many other tasty feasts.
A large Waitrose and a smaller Sainsbury's are both
within very short walking distance.
Heading further into Brighton you will discover many
more wonderful stores, as well as all the top high
street outlets.
Churchill Square is about a ten minute walk. A large
modern mall with many more clothing and luxury stores.
MEETING PLACE CAFE
This
Photo shows the Meeting Place cafe from the seafront.
The apartment is directly behind the lamp post to the
left of the image.
DOCTORS AND CHEMISTS
There are several doctor's surgeries nearby, and a
chemist is only 300 metres away.
CULTURE
Right in the heart of the Regency Conservation area,
your accommodation is surrounded by many places of
interest as well as stunning architecture. The
accommodation faces Embassy Court, a stunning example of
1920s architecture, and is very close to Brunswick
Terrace and Brunswick Square, Adelaide Crescent, and
Regency Square.
This photo shows Western Street looking north from the
flat. The Bedford Tavern (right of Photo) is just
20yards from your door, as is widely reputed to be
Brighton's most haunted pub!
The Old Market is a stone's throw away, while the New
Venture Theatre lies in the parallel street. Both
popular cultural venues for concerts and plays.
There are also a number of art galleries within easy
reach. During the Brighton Festival, you are invited to
walk freely into folks' homes, ("Open Houses") and enjoy
contemporary art in a most relaxed atmosphere. There are
many in this area, in Western Street too. Walk further
into Brighton to the Brighton Dome, the Brighton Centre,
the Pavilion, the Palace Pier, and many many more
attractions.
Please note - due to steps leading to the front door,
the apartment is unsuitable for elderly or disabled - sorry.
